Came to Chenzhou to see the mist over Xiaodongjiang🏞️
Although it requires an early start! But after seeing it, it feels totally worth it!!

The morning natural temperature difference creates water mist
That spreads over Xiaodongjiang
It really looks like a landscape painting!!

🕐 Mist viewing time: 6:30 AM - 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM
During this time, fishermen cast their nets every 15 minutes
If you like thick mist, come before 7 AM~
After 7:30 AM, the sunlight gradually appears and the mist disperses!
But photos look even better with sunlight~
Evening mist is thin~ a different kind of atmosphere

Recommended to get off at Viewing Platform No. 2! Walk to Viewing Platform No. 3
This section is great for photos~ and you can see fishermen casting nets

🚘 Transportation
There is a parking lot at the scenic area entrance 🅿️ 10 RMB per visit
🚄 Take the high-speed train to Chenzhou West Station, then taxi to the spot~

If you only want to see the misty Xiaodongjiang, 2-3 hours for photos and sightseeing is enough~
If you have more time, take a boat from the dock to Doushuai Island 🚢
You can see naturally formed caves! Very spectacular!!
