Hongmei Park, located in the bustling heart of Changzhou, is adjacent to the city's famous Tianning Temple and Wenbi Pagoda to the south, and Dongpo Park, just a hundred meters away. It is a Jiangnan garden that blends scenic beauty with natural scenery. Guanhe River and Shihe River flow through the park's east and west sides, and the park borders the Yanling East Road historical and cultural district to the south.

The park, originally the site of the Tianning Temple gardens, has been expanded to become the largest park in Changzhou. With its beautiful environment and exquisite garden design, it's a great place for weekend leisure, morning exercises, and boat trips.

The entire park is divided into eight scenes: Wenbi Sunset, Red Plum Blossoms in Spring Dawn, Winding Lotus in the Winding Pond, Reflections of Green Mountains, Autumn Clouds over Green Mulberry, Bells in the Forest Garden, Strong Pines on Snowy Mountains, and Remnant of Wu Style. Wenbi Sunset, with Wenbi Pagoda as the main scene, also includes Bijia Mountain, Wenbi Tower, Mengbi Pavilion, Moxiang Pavilion, Inkstone Pond, Taying Pond, Taying Mountain House, Zhiyin Boat, Kassa Pagoda, Jiaxianfang and other scenic spots.

The weather is suitable for all seasons. In late winter and early spring, red plum blossoms are in full bloom, like colorful clouds; in summer, lotus flowers are in full bloom, gorgeous and fresh; in autumn, the frost is heavy and the colors are deep, recreating the artistic conception of " frost leaves are redder than February flowers " ; in winter, the plants on the mountain are mainly green pines, cedars, and wintersweets, accompanied by Xuancheng stones to show the scenery of the north.
