Jinxian Spring is located in Baotu Spring Park in Jinan, Shandong Province. During the park's expansion in 1956, a golden thread appeared in a small pool with carved stone railings about 20 meters east of the old Jinxian Spring. This spring was subsequently named "Jinxian Spring," and the three characters "Jinxian Spring" written by Ding Yanchen, a native of Wuxing, in 1870, were inscribed on the spring's east wall.
Golden Line Spring is located northeast of Baotu Spring, between Shangzhi Hall and Huanghua Pavilion. The pool is rectangular, originally 40 feet long and 20 feet wide. It gets its name from the ripples on the water's surface, which, when viewed in the sun, resemble a shimmering golden thread floating on the surface.
