Cadence bank amphitheatre parking &hotel?

Hi. In a few weeks we're coming into town for a concert at Cadence bank Amphitheatre. I've been searching for parking info online, the website basically says it's "limited"...but doesn't provide info or guidance beyond that. So where can we find a place to park?

Additionally, I haven't a clue where would be the best/easiest area for a hotel. I would like to stay midrange in price. From my research, I'm reasonably sure that no hotels are in walking distance to the Amphitheatre?

Thanks for any advice!

For your visit to the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre, parking and hotel options in the area can indeed be a bit tricky. Here's a detailed guide to help you out:

Parking Near the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre:

The Cadence Bank Amphitheatre is located at 200 Peachtree Street SW, Atlanta, which is in the heart of downtown. While parking at the venue is limited, there are a few options nearby:

  • On-Site Parking: There is a small parking lot adjacent to the amphitheatre, but it fills up quickly, especially for popular events. You may need to arrive early to secure a spot.
  • Nearby Parking Decks: There are several parking garages within walking distance to the amphitheatre, including:
    • Georgia State University Parking Decks: There are multiple parking decks on the Georgia State campus, and some of them are about a 5-10 minute walk from the amphitheatre. Look for the GSU Parking Decks on Piedmont Avenue and Decatur Street.
    • Peachtree Center Parking: Located about 10-15 minutes on foot from the venue, this parking lot offers more space and is convenient for downtown events.
    • City of Atlanta Parking: Metered street parking is available, but it can be scarce and often has limited hours (make sure to check signs for restrictions). The area around the amphitheatre may also have valet services on event nights.
  • Rideshare or Public Transit: Given the potential for limited parking, rideshare services like Uber or Lyft can be an excellent option, particularly if you're attending during a busy time. Alternatively, taking MARTA (the Atlanta transit system) could also be an easy choice if you're coming from another part of the city.

Hotel Recommendations Near the Amphitheatre:

While there aren't many hotels directly next to the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre, there are several midrange hotel options within a short drive or even a reasonable walk. Here are some great choices:

  • Hotel Indigo Downtown: Located about a 10-minute walk from the amphitheatre, this stylish boutique hotel offers modern amenities and a central location. It's close to both the amphitheatre and many downtown attractions.
  • Residence Inn by Marriott Atlanta Downtown: Just a 10-minute walk to the amphitheatre, this all-suite hotel is perfect for longer stays and offers a comfortable, midrange price point. It also provides a free breakfast and is located near shops and restaurants.
  • Hyatt Centric Downtown Atlanta: A 10-minute walk from the amphitheatre, Hyatt Centric offers a great location with a stylish, modern vibe. It’s a bit pricier but still within midrange and includes amenities like a rooftop bar with views of the city.
  • The American Hotel Atlanta Downtown - a DoubleTree by Hilton: Located just a short drive from the amphitheatre, this hotel offers a classic downtown experience with spacious rooms and modern amenities. It's close to the MARTA station, making transportation to the amphitheatre easier.
  • Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta: A slightly more upscale option but still offering good midrange rates depending on the time of year, the Four Seasons is located a short drive from the venue. It’s known for its luxury, but the price point can be reasonable if you find a good deal.

Most of the hotels mentioned are not in walking distance to the amphitheatre, but they are all very close by with a short drive, and some are also near MARTA stations for easy access. Staying near Centennial Olympic Park or Peachtree Center is a good choice for both convenience and access to other downtown attractions.

Additional Tips:

  • Check for event-day parking updates as sometimes nearby lots or garages may be blocked off for special events.
  • Be mindful of event traffic, especially if you're driving to the concert. Consider using rideshare apps or public transportation to avoid the hassle of parking.

I hope this helps you plan your concert visit! Enjoy your time at the Cadence Bank Amphitheatre!
