Firstly a big thank you to all who helped with the advice for first timers to water park, you made our day.

We arrived at universal studios, took the lane to our right which is clearly marked for bus transport to V.B parked up and changed footwear to swim shoes, these are a must as the ground was so hot it burned, we didn’t have any with us so bought through advice from here at Walmart , we should have bought a waterproof lanyard bag for iPhone there also but instead paid $37 at park so we could take photos, was worth it tho. We opted for the large locker which is $25 for as long as you are there open and close as much as you like with your tape watch , quite easily fit a decent back pack and a hand bag in it . Lockers are all over the park and plentiful. Head to what ever ride you really want to do first and tap your watch and see what time to return, this works great and head on and do some of the walk on water rides or lazy river or swim pool or just chill on the many sun beds. There’s lots of eating places all around the park , water fountains are also everywhere, you can refill water bottles. It was so hot for us tho it was nice to sit and get a bit of shade and rest up . Mind and take more than you think sun cream,spray as you need to apply regular just to stop burning. Getting back to universal is so simple easy to use same shuttle bus from same place you were dropped off. We did have a break in the day as a thunder cloud was close by and they stopped for safety reasons all water rides, but that wasn’t for long. We had a blast and will return again soon for another day
