Wat Phichiyattikaram Somdej Chao Phraya Boromphichaiyati (That Bunnag) came to renovate when he was Phraya Si Phiphat Ratchakosa.

Since he had many ships to trade with foreign countries, he bought most of his construction materials from China. Therefore, the permanent objects have Chinese architecture, designed to match Thai architecture without any awkwardness.

This temple is suitable for meditation because the temple is spacious and very quiet.
