The Bangkok National Museum is the largest and most important museum in Thailand. Originally, it was the Front Palace before being converted into a museum during the reign of King Rama V. The museum houses significant artifacts, antiques, and Buddha images from across the country, spanning from the prehistoric era to the Rattanakosin period. Highlights include the Siwamokhaphiman Hall, which displays ancient Buddha images, and the Phutthaisawan Hall, which enshrines the Phra Buddha Sihing, one of Thailand's most sacred Buddha images.

- MRT: Get off at Sanam Chai Station, then take a tuk-tuk or taxi
- Chao Phraya Express Boat: Get off at Maharaj Pier/Phra Chan Pier and walk for about 5 minutes
