A small temple but very important is Watratchaprathitstathamasimaram, where the temple used to be a royal coffee garden.

King Rama IV had the idea that according to the ancient royal tradition, there must be 3 temples in the capital: Wat Mahathat, Wat Chaburana and Wat Cha Pradit.

But at that time, Rattanakosin still lacked Watratchaprathit and there was no Thammayut temple near the Grand Palace, so he used his own money to buy land and build this temple.

This temple was built of marble from Italy. The royal chapel has a front and back porch, a gable made of beautifully carved wood, and the window and door arches are decorated with stucco crown-shaped patterns, making it a beautiful temple of King Rama IV.

On the opposite side is Watratchaprathitstathamasimaram. There is no parking space at the temple.
