That day, I intended to go to Wat Phu Khao Thong in the evening, around 5 pm, to escape the heat and also to see a beautiful sunset. I walked up about 300 steps, slowly and without rushing. Even though I was a bit tired, I had time to take a break and stop for a drink at a cafe on the side of the road. The atmosphere was great.

When I reached the top, I saw the Buddha's relics in the middle of the pagoda. Plus, the view of Bangkok was 360 degrees wide. The cool breeze and the sunlight slowly setting below the horizon were so peaceful and beautiful that I didn't need to say much.

I got to worship, make merit, and slowly watch the sun set. It was a normal evening that turned into a special day.
