Oniku to Gohan: A Yakiniku Recommendation

Yakiniku Oniku to Gohan Sathorn branch is a Japanese-style BBQ restaurant that focuses on quality meat at an affordable price. Importantly, the rice here is Japanese rice from Fukuoka, which is very delicious. From the first bite, you can tell it’s different from other places.
The restaurant is decorated in a contemporary Japanese style, using wood materials and warm tones to create a cozy and friendly atmosphere, perfect for dining with family or friends. This time, we came with my dad and mom who only eat pork and not beef, so we took the opportunity to review the pork here as well.
Parking: The restaurant provides parking for customers next door, with a dedicated valet staff.
Recommended beef menu:
- Harami is the number 1 this time, priced at 240 baht. Normally, I like Mitsuji at 240 baht, but this time Mitsuji was dry and tough without much sauce, so Harami took the lead.
Pork menu ordered:
- Negimori P-tan, priced at 100 baht, is pork tongue wrapped with green onions, grilled until fragrant with charcoal aroma. Staff helped grill it, but I thought it was grilled a bit too dry. I recommend watching closely or grilling it yourself.
Recommended pork menu: The pork neck is the best.
It’s recommended to call and make a reservation first because this restaurant is very popular. I called at 5 PM to book for 6:30 PM, but it was full, so I changed to 7 PM and got a seat.
