Yakiniku Oniku to Gohan, Park Lane branch

Our regular yakiniku restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of the Park Lane project. We took the escalator up and arrived in no time. It was a Sunday afternoon, and there were still plenty of customers, but we didn't have to wait.

Our order:
150 grams of rice for two. Don't miss this! It's the most delicious Japanese rice I've ever had. They also offer free egg-flavored rice seasoning, refills available.

The blade steak is thickly sliced, so it's recommended not to grill it too long or the meat will dry out. It'll be springy and not tough.

The diaphragm steak is cut thicker than the blade steak. It's almost the same size as a cube, but longer. The meaty flavor is distinct, but not as tough, despite the thick cut.

The new menu item is the spicy miso marinated pork belly. We recommend grilling and eating it first, as the marinade will burn the grill. Then, ask for a new grill to continue grilling the meat. The flavor isn't too spicy, and even someone with a weak spicy tolerance like me can enjoy it without water. It's a perfect spiciness with a slight sweetness. The meat is bouncy and juicy.

Conclusion:
Both types of meat are delicious. Having eaten at four Yakiniku Oniku to Gohan locations throughout Bangkok, I was most impressed with the quality of the meat at the Park Lane branch. Both dishes were unforgettable. The only complaint was the service. The staff seemed a bit confused, going back and forth while serving the rice. And when I finished ordering half of my order, the staff member excused himself to do something before coming back to take my order again. I had to start over from the beginning. Other than that, everything was great.
