- Wat Bang Phlat is believed to have been built in 1797.
It received the Royal Visungkhamasima in 1801. Its original name was
Wat Bang Phlat Nai, along with Wat Bang Phlat Nok or Wat Awutwikasitaram.
The history of its construction is unknown, only that it is an ancient temple from the Ayutthaya period.
- A significant permanent feature is the ordination hall, which has a concave base resembling the hull of a ship.
The ordination hall and viharn are located parallel to each other, and the solid walls feature sema stones in the late Ayutthaya style.
- Inside, several Ayutthaya-style Buddha images are enshrined. The most notable Buddha image is Luang Pho To, enshrined in front of the viharn.
