Gigantic Golden Buddha and Ethereal Glass Stupa

Not your first trip in Bangkok? Already visited Wat Arun or Grand Palace? Here’s another great temple to visit :
Wat Paknam Phasi Charoen or just simply Wat Paknam.

This temple got that big golden buddha which you can see from afar, and also houses a stupa with another glass stupa at the 5th level; which i think doesn’t lose to the grandeur of the golden buddha
The colours are wonderful, kinda feels other worldly in a sense, the glass stupa, the art on the ceiling, the decors on the wall, it is very grandiose.
The stupa also houses a museum display on the lower level

📍how to get here:
🚖Option 1 (what we took going here) : you can take a grab, tho some driver will drop you further out of the complex itself, so walk a bit (following the buddha) cross the bridge and walk on the covered walk on your left to reach the complex.

🚶♀️Option 2 (what we took going back) : MRT Bang Phai
After exiting the complex, go on your right (crossing a bridge) and follow the road to the MRT. It’s about 10mins walk.
