The Amazing Batu Caves

Address: Batu Caves, Gombak, 68100 Batu Caves, Selangor, Malaysia.

Getting there: You can take KTM train and stop at the Batu Caves station. The amazing Hindu temple is just outside of the station.


Highlights: The statue of the supreme warrior Lord Murugan is very magnificent. Even though it is difficult to reach the top of the temple by climbing all the stairs in hot weather, it is worth it. It is a pleasant feeling to watch Malaysia from there. The monkeys that we see along the way are both cute and scary. There were also some roosters and hens inside the caves.

We arrived here at sunrise but due to the starting weekend there were already some people there. I also recommend the other temples and caves that are adjacent to the main temple.
