Borobudur, Yogyakarta, the largest Buddhist monument in the world

The rules for visiting Borobudur are quite strict. All tourists must enter with the group and are not allowed to leave the group. The entire process will be accompanied by a tour guide. Our group entered the ruins in sequence within the designated time. The tour guide was very attentive and carefully explained the history and meaning of each carving, which gave us a deeper understanding of this thousand-year-old pagoda.

However, before I had the chance to appreciate it in detail, or even take limited photos, when the tour time was up, the staff reminded us that we had to leave because the next group of tourists were already waiting outside. It is a pity to see the beautiful scene of the pagoda in the morning light but only be able to take a quick glance at it. It would be great if we could have a little more time to quietly appreciate the magnificence and solemnity of this relic.
