Beomeosa Temple sat nestled on a mountainside, surrounded by quiet forests that added to its serenity. The temple complex was beautifully preserved, with ornate gates, colorful dancheong-painted halls, and stone pagodas. Walking under the temple’s arches, I heard the soft rhythm of monks chanting, which created a calming atmosphere. The setting was spiritual but also scenic, with trails leading into the mountains for peaceful hikes.
