Today, I'm sharing my experience at Samdor Noodle, a well-known local restaurant in Central, Hong Kong.

Samdor Noodle has a high rating on Google Maps, so I decided to give it a try. The restaurant isn't very spacious, with tables for 2, 3, and 4 people, and sharing tables is a must. Even if you're alone at a 2-person table, you'll likely share it with others. Since it's a noodle place, the turnover rate is quite fast. Most of the customers were locals dining alone.

The owner is very attentive, making sure to check on each table, which made dining here very comfortable.

I ordered the egg noodles with meatballs, and the broth was very clean. The meatballs had cilantro in them, giving them a distinct aroma.

I also ordered choi sum to go with the wontons. The choi sum at Samdor Noodle was tender and easy to eat in one bite, with a slightly tangy flavor from the oyster sauce on top.

Samdor Noodle is a great spot for those looking for a local eatery in Central or a place to dine alone in Hong Kong. If you don't like cilantro, I recommend trying the shrimp wontons instead.
