National Museum of Indonesia

National Museum -also known as the Elephant Museum- is a great place for education and entertainment. It houses archaeological artifacts, ethnological exhibits, and historical information that satisfies curiosity about Indonesia’s diverse heritage. The museum also hosts special exhibitions on occasion. The entrance fee is IDR 25,000 (approximately USD 1.50) for adults. Located in the heart of Jakarta, it stands opposite the city’s iconic landmark, the National Monument.
