Chiang Mai is a very attractive city for tourists because it offers a variety of attractions. Today, we will focus on cultural tourism. One of the highlights of Chiang Mai is its temples. In the heart of the city, there are many temples, and we will visit one that is both beautiful and unique, providing a peaceful experience. This is 'Wat Phan Tao,' also known as Wat Pantao. The unique feature of this temple is its ordination hall, which is entirely made of teak wood in the Lanna architectural style. It stands out beautifully and catches the eye of passersby on the street in front of the temple. Visitors can admire its beauty, pay respects, make merit, or simply sit and find peace. It is one of the temples that will leave you feeling very relaxed after your visit.
Wat Phan Tao is located in Phra Singh Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Mai District, right next to Wat Chedi Luang. It is open daily from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
