🛕Wat Ched Yod, also known as Wat Photharam Maha Vihara, is an ancient temple over 500 years old. It is a significant temple for those born in the Year of the Snake, as they must come to pay homage here. The temple's main structure, the Phothiballangk Vihara Maha Bodhi Chedi, resembles the seven-spired pagoda, which is the main building of the temple. It is located in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
🏰The seven-spired pagoda, with its spired top, is considered a masterpiece of Lanna Thai Buddhist architecture. It reflects the pinnacle of artistic and architectural development. The shape of the pagoda is similar to the Maha Bodhi Vihara in Bodh Gaya, India. This grand pagoda features unique architecture, with a rectangular base surrounded by stucco images of Theppanom, angels, and intricate floral designs.
