Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan • Chiang Mai

If you visit Chiang Mai, you must not miss the ancient place “Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan”.

Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan is an ancient temple built during the reign of King Saen Mueang Ma (Mangrai Dynasty). When you enter, don’t forget to make merit and bring flowers from the temple to pay homage to “Phra Attharot”, the principal Buddha image in the royal chapel. The Buddha image is made of bronze and is 18 cubits tall.

In addition, at the back of the chapel, you will find a 60-meter-wide pagoda, one of the most important pagodas in Chiang Mai.

The temple is beautiful and very shady. There are many angles for taking pictures.
