⭐ Wat Phra That Doi Suthep

#TravelTalk
⭐ Wat Phra That Doi Suthep is located in Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. The temple is approximately 689 meters above sea level and 1,046 meters above sea level. It is one of Chiang Mai's most important temples, and boasts a panoramic view of the entire city.

• Getting there is relatively easy, with plenty of short curves and a comfortable, well-maintained road that isn't too steep.

• The temple grounds are also lined with shops and souvenir shops, offering a truly classic experience.

• Admission is free. If you don't want to walk, take the electric tram for 20 baht (more like an elevator, but with air conditioning).

• The highlight is definitely the large, golden chedi, which is incredibly beautiful in the sunlight. Worship with candlelight processions is a must-see.

• The atmosphere is peaceful, despite the large number of Thai and international tourists.

⏰ Opening Hours: Daily 6:00 AM–8:00 PM
