A pagoda that looks different from other pagodas in Thailand. The shape of this pagoda is similar to stacking many watermelons, so the locals call it the Ku Tao pagoda.
Currently, this temple has an official name of "Wat Weluwanaram". This Ku Tao pagoda looks different from other Lanna pagodas, namely that each level of the pagoda has a niche enshrining Buddha images in various postures on all 4 sides. Stained glass is intricately decorated in the shape of small flowers. The top of the Ku Tao pagoda has a small golden pagoda and the top of the pagoda is decorated with an umbrella, a characteristic of Burmese art. #wattosann
