Eating tour of Fenqihu Old Street!

Fenqihu is located in Zhuqi Township, Chiayi County, and is located at an altitude of about 1,400m.

After the Alishan Forest Railway was opened in 1912, Fenqihu Station was the largest maintenance base along the line. In the old days, trains carrying timber and workers would stop here for a little longer, and when it got close to noon, the conductors and passengers would take a long break, which gave birth to Fenqihu's railway lunch box culture. At the same time, this place became the largest business hub and relay point along the railway line.

As you leisurely walk through the old street, which is about 500m long, you will see many shops selling local specialties such as spicy wasabi, love eggs, and tamarillos.
