One of the World Heritage Sites you should visit when you go to Delhi! Introducing the beautiful tomb, Humayun's Tomb!
⭐️Review
Humayun's Tomb is the mausoleum of Humayun, the second Mughal Emperor, located in New Delhi, India. Construction began in 1547 and was completed in 1565. This tomb is considered an early masterpiece of Mughal architecture and is registered as a World Heritage Site.
Humayun's Tomb is a beautiful piece of architecture made of red sandstone and white marble, and is characterized by its design surrounded by gardens. The dome-shaped building in the center is particularly impressive, and many small tombs and waterways are arranged around it. This tomb is also thought to have influenced the architectural style of the Taj Mahal, which was later built by Shah Jahan, the fifth Mughal Emperor. Indeed, when you compare them, there are quite a few similarities, which was interesting!
In addition, Humayun's Tomb is popular with many tourists not only for its historical value, but also for its beautiful scenery and natural surroundings full of greenery. It was my favorite ruins in New Delhi! Please go and check it out 🫶
