📍Edinburgh, Scotland
Edinburgh is a city where medieval history meets modern culture. Its skyline of spires and stone rises dramatically from volcanic hills, making it one of the most atmospheric cities in Europe.
🏰 History & Heritage
We began at Edinburgh Castle, perched high above the city, then wandered down the Royal Mile — a cobbled stretch of closes, cathedrals, and hidden courtyards leading to the Palace of Holyroodhouse.
🌿 City & Nature
A hike up Arthur’s Seat rewarded us with panoramic views over the rooftops and the Firth of Forth, while Calton Hill gave us the perfect spot for a golden sunset.
🍺 Food & Evenings
Cosy pubs in the Grassmarket served hearty Scottish fare, while whisky tastings revealed why this city is a dream for spirit lovers. Between historic closes and lively nightlife, Edinburgh feels both ancient and endlessly alive.
