#summervacay Took a trip out to Deokhangsan in Samcheok and it was such a pleasant surprise. Not super hyped like some of the big-name mountains, but that’s what made it great, super peaceful and no crowd stress. The trail starts out with these calm forest vibes, just enough uphill to get your legs moving, but nothing too wild. It felt like the kind of hike where you can actually enjoy the walk instead of just pushing to survive.

Midway up, the views start peeking through, and by the time you hit the top, total coastal panorama. You can spot the sea in the distance, and the breeze up there? So fresh. Definitely one of those spots where you just want to sit, breathe, and take it all in.

The nature felt untouched, raw in the best way. Deokhangsan’s not flashy, but it’s got that quiet charm that sticks with you. If you’re ever in Samcheok, give this one a shot, you won’t regret it.
