[Penang Girls Trip] A cute and popular cafe where you can try traditional Malaysian sweets!

Malaysia's colorful traditional sweet, Kueh, is a soft, chewy snack with a coconut milk flavor. There are many types, all of which are delicious and recommended. This time, we will introduce a stylish cafe in Penang where you can enjoy a variety of Kueh!

⭐️Review
"Moh Teng Pheow Nyonya Koay" is a Kueh specialty store on Penang Island! There is a kitchen at the entrance, and there is another kitchen beyond that, so at first I thought I had entered the wrong entrance, but the store is right behind it.

There are many delicious Kueh, and you can eat them at a very reasonable price of about 30 yen each! They also have Nyonya dishes such as Paitee, which are just snacks.

The Paitee had a nostalgic taste that you might find in Japanese cuisine. The Assam Laksa had a bit of a fishy smell, so I think I prefer the ones from other stores....

However, each Kueh is exquisite! I recommend the Angkoo Kueh, a rice cake with red bean paste inside! And the nutmeg juice, a Penang specialty, is really delicious!

It's a popular restaurant so you may have to wait a little, but please give it a try! Takeout is also available 🥡
