🏔️ Asahidake Daisetsuzan | A must-see skiing destination! 🎿

#PostACommentWinJungliaTickets

Standing on the slopes of Asahidake, the Daisetsuzan Mountains, at the closest point to the sky in Hokkaido, I was repeatedly struck by the scenery and reminded of the insignificance of humankind. Perhaps skiing and hiking are all about experiencing these indescribable moments.

Asahidake is an active volcano. White steam billows from its summit and slopes year-round. At 2,291 meters, it's the highest peak in Hokkaido's Daisetsuzan National Park and is known as the "Roof of Hokkaido."

This trip to Asahidake brought me new friends and reunited with old ones, sharing the scenery and laughter along the slopes. It was truly an amazing experience! The temperature on the mountain was around -10 degrees Celsius, and the wind made it even colder, so be sure to bundle up warmly. Down jackets, hats, gloves, and masks are essential, or your happiness will be completely frozen out.

🎫 Asahidake Ropeway (Entrance Fee) Suggested:
- Adults (junior high school students and older): Round-trip ¥3,200 / One-way ¥2,000
- Children (elementary school students): Round-trip ¥1,600 / One-way ¥1,000
- Preschoolers: Free

📍 It's recommended to check the weather and availability in advance. The weather at the summit of Asahidake can change quickly, so blue skies are a matter of luck, but once you do, it's an unforgettable experience!
