Victoria Harbour Easter Hopping Hong Kong-style Easter is bound to turn Victoria Harbour around

Starting today, 6 of Hong Kong’s unique seaside spaces have been transformed to bring a colorful festive atmosphere to Hong Kong’s Easter! The Harbourfront Commission has specially arranged various Easter limited-edition installations, with local artists infusing different design themes, so that citizens who have to go out and pass through the waterfront spaces of Hong Kong Island and Tsuen Wan can experience a pleasant journey.

Pop-up installations to experience local art

Photo 1: CAN GEMs installation

The Wan Chai Promenade (Connector), which connects Tamar in Admiralty and the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, features the CAN GEMs installation designed by local social enterprise Alchemist Creations. The design is inspired by a device that recycles soda cans. After incorporating design elements and different colors into the device, the designer hopes to inject positive energy into Hong Kong!

The theme area at Wan Chai Ferry Pier - "Seaside Leisure Station" is guided by the fun-looking Mushroom Rabbit, who will lead everyone into the "Victoria Harbour Chill Dream Manor". The manor has an 8-meter-high special cake, and citizens can move around the giant dining table, sofa, and chess board and become a part of the manor!

Photo 3: Sports and Recreation Area

The water sports and recreation theme area in Wan Chai is dressed up in new clothes for Easter. In addition to the existing "Chocolate Rain" and water sports-themed art installations and decorations, the lamp posts and rest pavilions in the water sports and recreation theme areas are now covered with linen printed with distinctive Hong Kong and Victoria Harbour patterns, adding a colorful effect and atmosphere to the dark theme area facilities. At the same time, to add more joy and color to everyone’s life, @Baau will also visit the theme area to wish everyone a happy Easter and full of joy.

Photo 4: Tsuen Wan West Promenade

Tsuen Wan West Promenade will also become the "Victoria Harbour Easter Egg Art Garden" to celebrate the vibrant early spring with citizens. Several large paintings by artist Li Xianglan will be spread throughout the park. After citizens enter the garden through the wreath arch, they can reach a 3-meter-high large greenhouse printed with cute rabbits and Easter eggs. Visitors can continue to explore the different arrangements in the garden, wander through the art maze, relax in the pavilions and rope net benches, look for Easter eggs of different designs, and enjoy the Victoria Harbour Art Tour!

Citizens can discover that the Belcher Bay Promenade incorporates many local elements of tea restaurants, and has a large art installation of the character - Pineapple Bun Sister designed by local illustrator Helen Tam, which is integrated into a series of play installations. In addition to the 3-meter-high Shiyi Pineapple Bun Slide, the promenade will also have a cute hamburger-shaped seesaw, the vibrant Tangtang Rotating Lemon Tea Cup, the sparkling Pineapple Bun Sister x Pallet Boy that is unique at night, and colorful canned car stools, allowing passers-by to feel the Easter seaside vitality!
