The Hong Kong Space Museum is located on the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront, featuring an iconic egg-shaped dome building. Admission is free (exhibition hall tickets are $10 for adults).
Exhibition highlights: The "Universe Panorama" hall (ground floor) takes you on a virtual tour of the solar system and the galaxy, with interactive exhibits such as the "Aurora" simulating solar wind generating auroras, and the "Ice Body" creating comets using dry ice; the "Space Exploration" hall (first floor) showcases the history of rockets, offers experiences simulating moonwalking and weightlessness, and displays precious artifacts like the Shenzhou 1 flag and Yang Liwei's spacesuit.
The Space Theatre's 3D panoramic films and planetarium shows present cosmic wonders. It’s a 10-minute walk from Tsim Sha Tsui Station. Visiting in the morning is recommended, allowing 2 hours, perfect for family exploration of the mysteries of the universe!
