🏯 Sam Tung Uk Museum – From Hakka Village to City Museum

Sam Tung Uk Museum is a restored museum from a Hakka village built in 1786 by the Chan family under the leadership of Chan Yam-shing. The village was declared a historical site in 1981 and opened as a museum in 1987. It received the Pacific Heritage Award from the Pacific Asia Tourist Association in 1990.
