Affordable A4 Wagyu Hot Pot Buffet in Mong Kok

After work, I came with colleagues to Yat Guo Tong for a dine-in dinner hot pot buffet. We chose the richest option, Japanese Black Hair Wagyu A4+. Besides the Japanese Black Hair Wagyu, there are also many other types of meat plus seafood. The regular price is $338 per person, which is very cost-effective. If you can leave before 7 PM, there is an early bird discount, making it even better.

The buffet offers unlimited orders via mobile for meat, seafood, and various balls and dumplings. There is also a self-service cold seafood section, cooked food area, vegetable bar, drinks cabinet, and ice cream bar. Just these alone are enough to fill your stomach.

The coconut chicken hot pot broth is golden yellow, with plenty of coconut slices and chicken pieces inside. The broth is very fresh and sweet.

For meat, we focused on Japanese A4+ Black Hair Wagyu and premium Angus short ribs. The Wagyu has beautiful large marbling, with a rich oily fragrance and very tender texture. The Angus short ribs are a bit firmer but have a stronger meaty flavor.

Of course, you must also try the wide variety of seafood, including large plump oysters, whole bouncy abalone, fresh and sweet whole scallops, and seasonal shellfish. All the seafood is very fresh. The clams and sand clams we had today were completely sand-free, each plump and sweet.
