The Indescribable Beauty of Sunset at Tai O

Tai O, a traditional fishing village on Lantau Island, offers one of the most breathtaking sunsets in Hong Kong. As the sun dips low on the western horizon, the sky becomes painted in golden, orange, and crimson hues, casting a warm glow over the stilt houses and reflecting off the calm waters of the canals.

🚗Arrive Early (around 5:30–6:00 PM): To secure a good photo spot, head to the pedestrian bridge over the canal, or walk along the sea wall where the light hits the water most beautifully.
