I visited Huanglong in mid-June when it was raining, but the lake surface was still beautiful. Don't be discouraged by bad weather and carry out your plan.

[Access] From Chengdu East Station, take the high-speed train for about 2 hours to Huanglong Jiuzhai Station (day trips are now possible)

From the station, take a bus for 30 minutes to Huanglong Scenic Area

[Recommended route] Take the cable car 🚠 to Wu-sai Pond at an altitude of 3,576m. If you take the staircase route for about 3km to the exit, you will be on your knees, but you will be able to see a wonderful view.
