I rarely use the word "stunning" to describe a place!

"After seeing the Five Sacred Mountains, you don't need to see any other mountains. After seeing Mount Huangshan, you don't need to see the Five Sacred Mountains." "Of all the famous mountains in the world, none can compare to Mount Huangshan. After seeing Mount Huangshan, you don't need to see any other mountains." These are not empty words.

If you come to Anhui, I only want to recommend one place, and that is Mount Huangshan. I was truly stunned by it!

🗺️ Here are two classic routes for exploring Mount Huangshan:

1. Yuping Small Loop (3–4 hours)
Take the Yuping Cableway up the mountain, then visit Banshan Temple, Guest-Greeting Pine, Lotus Peak, Hundred Steps Ladder, A Strip of Sky, Aoyu Peak, and Yuping Tower in order, and finally take the Yuping Cableway down the mountain. If you have time, you can visit Taiping Lake Scenic Area the next day.
2. Xihai Grand Loop (5–6 hours)
Start from Yungu Temple (cableway station), visit Shixin Peak, Black Tiger Pine, Pen Rack Peak, and Paiyun Pavilion, then enter the first and second rings of Xihai Grand Canyon, then go to Bright Summit and Flying Stone, then return to Paiyun Pavilion, and finally return to Yungu Temple.

✅ Tiandu Peak
It is one of the main peaks of Mount Huangshan. When you reach the top and look down, the mountain breeze gently brushes your cheeks, and you feel like you are in the sky, full of pride.
✅ Bright Summit
This is a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Whether it is when the morning light first appears or when the afterglow falls, the golden light dyes the mountains, creating a dreamlike and beautiful scene.
✅ Guest-Greeting Pine
It is a symbol of Mount Huangshan, stretching out its arms to warmly welcome visitors from all over the world. The beautiful picture formed by the green pine branches seems to be frozen in time.
✅ Xihai Grand Canyon
There are cliffside walkways, deep canyons, and clouds and mist rising and swirling. Every step offers a different view, making you marvel.
✅ Taiping Lake
The fairy-like Taiping Lake is a must-visit spot for this autumn trip. Don't miss it when you visit Mount Huangshan.
