🎫 Tickets
Adult combo ticket: 107 RMB (Yongxing Lake ¥65 + Ancient Village ¥47). If you only want to see the fish lantern show, you can just buy the Yongxing Lake ticket.
⚠️ If staying inside, show your accommodation booking at the ticket office for a discounted price of 95 RMB (valid for 3 days with unlimited entry).

🎏 Fish Lantern Show
Time: Currently held nightly around 19:00 in July, lasting 1.5 hours (unless heavy rain ☔️).
Location: Arrive 1 hour early at the Sunning Autumn Square (starting point of the fish lantern parade).
Route: See Figure 3 for the fish lantern parade map.

🚌 Transportation (from Huangshan North Station)
Bus: Take Huizhou Bus No. 17 (2 RMB) directly to Chengkan Scenic Area Station (~40 mins, infrequent schedule, not recommended).
Taxi: Around 25-35 RMB.
Self-drive: Navigate to China Huizhou Study Base—free roadside parking 🆓.

😋 Must-Try
Hairy tofu: So delicious I bought it twice‼️ Ate it during the day, then bought another portion after the fish lantern show at night—lol 🤤
Stinky mandarin fish: Great for sharing with family/friends (too much for one person haha).

📝 Tips
1. Local villagers offer guided tours (20 RMB/person or 30 RMB for two)—choose based on your needs.
2. In summer, bring mosquito repellent + a mini fan to avoid bites and heat!
3. Check the weather before coming—avoid heavy rain days 🌧️ to prevent disappointment.
