🚆How to get to Ibusuki?
- With a JR Pass, you can reserve the Ibusuki no Tamatebako sightseeing train 1 month in advance (recommended).
- Regular trains also go to Ibusuki. We recommend taking the 8:35 train (to ensure you have enough time to connect to the bus).
- Fare: Approx. JPY 1,000–1,500 one way without a JR Pass.
🗺 Tips:
✔ Want to find the Eevee manhole cover? Take the 8:35 train. You'll have enough time to find it after arriving!
✔ Ibusuki Station provides maps. Look for the female staff member in uniform. She is Chinese and can communicate in Chinese!
✔ There is a 7-Eleven nearby where you can buy snacks.

🚏 How to get there:
Take the 11:05 bus from Ibusuki Station to Cape Nagasakibana (JPY 600, approx. 1 hr).

🚉 Nishi-Oyama Station | Japan's southernmost JR station
📍How to get from Cape Nagasakibana to Nishi-Oyama Station:
🚶Option 1: Walk 2.8 km (approx. 35 mins)
🚌Option 2: Take the 13:07 bus to Tokumitsu-Komae Station, then walk 1.8 km.
🚖Option 3: Take a taxi for approx. JPY 1,700 (you can ask a shop to call a taxi for you).
