On the way from Inuyama Station to Inuyama Castle, I stumbled upon this delightful bakery. After checking, it seems they are known for their amazing lemon cakes. With a light drizzle outside, it felt like the perfect time to step in and take a break.

The lemon cake at Bakery Shirushi is made with natural ingredients. Unlike the typical bright yellow lemon cakes, theirs has a color closer to brown sugar buns. The texture is fluffy, and you can taste the sweet and tangy flavor of lemon, accompanied by a delightful aroma. It pairs wonderfully with a cup of hot black coffee, balancing the flavors in your mouth. Truly impressive.

The first floor serves as the bakery and takeaway area, while the second floor offers a dine-in space. The interior is beautifully decorated with dried flowers, books, wooden tables and chairs, sheer curtains, and soft lighting, creating a cozy and Instagram-worthy atmosphere.
