The salad bar and desserts at Flame Steakhouse on the 45th floor of the Hi-Lai Hotel in Kaohsiung are rich and delicious. It's my favorite steakhouse in Kaohsiung. I invited my good friend and classmate, Shuyuan, to Flame Steakhouse for dinner. We made reservations and were seated on a sofa with a window. The magnificent restaurant, with its crystal-chandeliered lobby, was a delightful and relaxing experience, and it worked up a great appetite. The colorful vegetable salads, dozens of cheese varieties, and the fruit tartare were even more delicious. We ordered two set meals, a filet mignon and a seafood combo, and then enjoyed the delicious salad bar. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful, constantly refilling our sparkling water, clearing our plates, and even recommending the fresh figs that had just been served. It was a truly enjoyable meal. This is a great restaurant, highly recommended.
