Karuizawa Kogen Church and Stone Church at Hoshino Resorts

Within the Hoshino Resorts in Karuizawa, there are two famous churches: the Kogen Church and the Stone Church, also known as the Uchimura Kanzo Memorial Hall.

These two churches are highly popular venues for weddings among Japanese couples. If a wedding is being held on the day of your visit, you won't be able to enter for a tour. Being able to visit them is truly a matter of luck!

Both churches are located within the Hoshino area, and it is recommended to drive directly there. Although the distance is short, the roads are quite steep.
