I went to the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel in Saitama Prefecture.

I went there in June. It's a very popular place on social media, but the name is hard to remember, so if you search for "temples in Saitama" on the internet, it always comes up. If you want to get there, it's easy to start from the north of Tokyo, such as Ueno, Nippori, Asakusa, and Kita-Senju. It's better to decide where to stay here too. Go to Kasukabe Station on the Tobu Line and then Minami-Sakurai Station on the Tobu Noda Line. It took less time than I thought to get to the station, and I was able to get there in under an hour. (I started at Nippori Station.) The problem is how to get from the station to the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel. There are buses, but they are very few, so you can take a taxi, or if you're confident in your stamina, you can walk. In my case, I took a bus when I went there and walked to the station on the way back. I don't recommend walking in the summer.
The Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel requires a reservation. You can make a reservation by phone or online, and it seems to be available from 9am to 4:30am. The photo shoot is underground, so the temperature drops quite a bit, so if you're sensitive to the cold inside, you should prepare a jacket.
It's still close to Kasukabe Station, and the anime Crayon Shin-chan is famous in Kasukabe. There is a Crayon Shin-chan shop near Kasukabe Station. After visiting the Metropolitan Area Outer Underground Discharge Channel, Kasukabe is also recommended. #SummerShortTrip #CrayonShin-chan #Saitama #SaitamaTemple
