History & Nature in One Spot
What makes this museum unique is the blend of exhibits. Inside the main hall, you get history and archaeology, but the grounds also contain the Ethno-Botanical Garden, showcasing local plants used for medicine and food by indigenous tribes. It perfectly connects Sabah’s diverse culture with its incredible natural environment. I found the sections on the many different indigenous tribes particularly fascinating, covering their unique costumes, tools, and spiritual beliefs. A great all-in-one stop for both history buffs and nature lovers.
