Kuala Lumpur is a unique blend of culture and modernity. From the iconic Twin Towers to the vibrant street food scene in Jalan Petaling, to the rich history at Batu caves. This city offers something unique for every traveller.
Getting Around: Grab is really affordable in KL and easy to book so recommend using that to get around. Otherwise, there is also metro.
Hotels: You may consider staying around KLCC area, there are many Airbnbs and hotels that will give you a perfect view of the Petronas Twin Towers.
Shopping: There are so many shopping options, regardless you are looking for luxury items or international brands. Best malls include Pavilion, TRX, KLCC, Berjaya Time Square
Itinerary:
1.
KLCC / Twin Towers
Highlights - Iconic landmark in Kuala Lumpur. You can go in the day and at night to see the Twin towers in day and night view. There are many shops inside KLCC from branded luxury stores to food and so on to spend a few hours.
2.
Batu Caves
Highlights - This is a hindu temple inside a cave. The iconic rainbow staircase there is worth a visit for photos. However, do note it can get really crowded during the day and very hot. Ladies please remember to wear something covering your knees to be allowed in the temples.
3.
Petaling Street/ Chinatown
Highlights - There are many local food options around this street and street vendors selling small goods and souveniers. Overall bustling and you can experience the local vibes and try local cuisines.
4.
Times Square
Highlights - Relatively old shopping mall but if you are looking for activities like karaoke and archery, indoor theme park, laser tag etc, this is the mall to go with affordable rates and a day of fun.
