If you want good luck and victory, this is the place! The famous Zenkyoan subtemple of Kenninji Temple 😊 The Boar Temple🐗

Today we will be introducing Zenkyoan, a sub-temple of the famous Kenninji Temple in Kyoto. It is also known as Marishitendo. This Marishitendo is one of Japan's three great Marishiten temples, and Marishiten is the deified form of heat haze, the ancient Indian goddess Marichi, the guardian deity of Buddhism. As its name suggests, Marishiten is an elusive entity, as free-changing as a heat haze. It is said to move forward unimpeded at the speed of light, bringing good fortune and victory. 😊
This temple is also known as a boar temple, and the grounds are home to Koma boars (not guardian dogs) and adorable boar charms. 🐗
