I visited almost every place I visited during my 7 days in Kyoto!
In my opinion, the place where I could see the most diverse types of cherry blossoms was 🏯Nijo Castle🏯.
Originally, I had made a reservation for the evening light-up, but my schedule was disrupted and I couldn't go. 😭 I left my regret behind and decided to go during the day~! I think it was a good decision to visit during the day.
The reason 🤔 The sunny weather played a part, but I was able to see so many different types of cherry blossoms.
I was sick of seeing so many cherry blossoms on the Philosopher's Path the day before, lol, but seeing so many different types of cherry blossoms🌸 was new to me.
And compared to other tourist spots, there were really no people. Do people usually not visit Nijo Castle during the day? I guess.
It was so quiet that I was able to enjoy the quiet Japanese garden and cherry blossoms.

There were many different types of cherry blossoms and they were pretty, but there were no people, so I was able to take a lot of pictures for my mom!
If you want to take a picture with cherry blossoms as a pretty background, it's definitely 🏯Nijo Castle.
The garden is so Japanese and pretty, so it's a place where you can take fantastic pictures📸 with cherry blossoms as a background on a sunny day.
If you visit Kyoto, Japan during the cherry blossom🌸 season, I recommend you visit all the cherry blossom spots because the shapes of the cherry blossoms are different at each spot!
