Blossoms in Kifune—a serene village in the mountains north of Kyoto—are a breathtaking sight, especially in spring. While Kifune is most famous for its shrine (Kifune Jinja) and summer river dining, its quiet charm in blossom season is equally captivating.

In late March to April, sakura (cherry blossoms) begin to bloom along the narrow paths, temple grounds, and riversides.
