🍁 From Osaka to Kyoto: Kiyomizu-dera Fall Foliage Travelogue 🍁

I headed from Osaka to Kyoto. As the autumn colors passing by outside the window deepened, I had a feeling that today would be a special day. Arriving at Kyoto Station, transferring to a bus, and stepping off at the entrance of Kiyomizu-dera, the air felt different. Instead of the bustle of the city, red and yellow maple leaves fluttered in the wind, seemingly guiding the way.

As I walked up the narrow alley, the majestic Kiyomizu-dera stage finally unfolded before my eyes. The view from the main hall was truly magnificent. The crimson maple forest surrounding the temple rippled like a sea, and the silvery ginkgo leaves interspersed here and there enhanced the richness of the colors. Seeing this landscape, something I'd only seen in photos, unfold before my eyes filled my heart with emotion.

Kyomizu-dera was beautiful during the day, but the red maple leaves glowed softly under the lights, creating a tranquil and mystical atmosphere, as if time had stood still. The tranquil atmosphere of the temple and the vibrant autumn foliage combined to make me feel like I'd temporarily forgotten reality and entered a dream.

Although the day began in Osaka, the autumn foliage at Kiyomizu-dera Temple was the highlight of my trip. The crimson forest, the serene temple, and the sense of calm I felt within will remain etched in my memory for a long time.
