Heian Shrine was built in 1895 to commemorate the 1,100th anniversary of the Heian capital. Its red pillars and green roof were impressive👍

The grounds are free to visit, but you have to pay an admission fee to see the garden. There are many things to see in the garden, and it is beautifully decorated, so I recommend visiting the garden as well!!
