Although shared with Switzerland, the French side of Lake Geneva is spectacular. I stayed near Évian-les-Bains, famous for its springs, and enjoyed lakeside walks with views across to the Alps. Ferries glide gracefully across the water, connecting towns full of charm. The sunsets were magical—mountains turning pink as the lake reflected the colors like glass. I also loved the cultural side: vineyards, thermal spas, and elegant Belle Époque villas. Lake Geneva feels cosmopolitan yet deeply natural, offering both tranquility and sophistication. It’s a lake that embodies beauty and elegance.
